The Denver Paper Fashion Show has been shinning light on Colorado talent for 20 years. Designers such as myself, were assigned to create fashions made from 90% paper and 10% other materials. A theme is typically present, for the 2022 fashion show our theme was chiaroscuro, the contrast of dark and light. My partners and I’s project took inspiration from the theme but came to life through a creative process of trial and error. The fashions are showcased on a grand runway worn by a local model, and voted on by a panel of judges.
